Production Operative

Miles Recruitment have a great opportunity for Production Operatives or people with Assembly experience to join our repeat client in Westbury. Our client carries out business throughout the country, upholstering and installing furniture.

As a Production Operative, you will be working on a variety of products, for a large collective of clients. Other responsibilities in this role can include:

- Perform assembly tasks according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble components and parts.
- Inspect assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge.

In this position as a Production Operative, previous experience is desired but not necessary as training is provided. Other attributes and qualities which will help you excel can include:

- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
- A mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

This is a interesting long term temporary contract which can lead to a permanent role if that is desired.

- This is a four day working week the hours are Monday - Wednesday 07.00-17.30 and Thursday 07.00-16.30.
