Miles Recruitment have been engaged to recruit a Trainee Office Administrator for a business that operates in the small to medium sized company space.

The company have been in business for well over 7 decades so very well established and offers stability and security.

Your new role comes with the following responsibilities:

* Handling incoming enquiries via the telephone and email, and direct with messages to call back to appropriate colleagues
* Raising purchase order for consumables
* Completing daily filing
* Managing daily dispatching, through carrier portals and the in-house computer system
* Labelling of all the consignments due for despatch

You will also be coached and trained on the job to take on the following future responsibilities:

* Producing quotations and following-up proposals
* Supporting the factory in processing and printing paperwork, inserts and labels
* Liaising between the factory and office for processing, progressing and dispatching orders
* Archiving
* Processing sales and work orders

About you.

You will:
* Have great attention to the detail
* Possess a good initiative and be organised
* Be confident with Microsoft office
* Have basic selling skills with a good telephone manner
* Have the ability to communicate confidently
* Must have some experience of dealing with customers previously
* Ideally have some experience of working in a Sales Office, although not essential
* Manufacturing company (Preference)

Your will be up to £20,000 p/a dependent on experience.

This is an on site office based position.
