Miles Recruitment have been engaged by a repeat client with a brilliant opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join the business on a 6 month fixed term basis.

The company is exciting and vibrant and you will be supporting the loveliest Finance Manager, who is very experienced and people focussed.

As their interim Accounts Assistant some of the main responsibilities you will be carrying out on a day-to-day basis can include:

• Bank Rec’s
• Invoice P/L processing
• Expenses
• Credit Card Expenses
• Credit Control
• Ad Hoc Journals
• Posting Fixed Assets
• Month end data entry and postings
• Payment runs for review

To secure the post, you will have excellent communication and prioritisation skills.

You will have the confidence in your abilities to hit the ground running and have the initiative to complete tasks with minimal supervision as well strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

You do need to have demonstrable knowledge of working in an accounts environment ideally with both sales and purchase ledger.

Your data entry skills must be both accurate and timely.

Ideally you will have AAT at least level 3 qualification.

The client is offering full-time hours on a 6-month fixed term contract.
Further being offered is working in the office 2 days a week in Melksham and 3 from home.
The hybrid working will eventually change to fully remote.

As Accounts Assistant, you will be offered between c.£25,000 - £27,000 p/a.
