As Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with the operations and commercial teams throughout the business, the finance team and IT.
You will work closely with key stakeholders, providing financial and analytical insight into the business, drive informed decision-making, and contribute to the overall success of the company through detailed analysis and interrogation into various key performance indicators and data.
As part of looking at the how, why. what scenarios from a commercial business perspective you will undertake some of the more standard accounting tasks as well including:
• Preparing income reconciliations for “top half” of P&L (i.e., turnover,
gross margin & payroll) by category
• Providing dashboard reporting to share management information that
is easily understood by non-finance managers
• Producing budget vs actual reports, investigating variances and follow
up with supporting commentaries
• Guide decision making by challenging the status quo, whilst offering
alternative ways of thinking – following this through to monitoring the
impact of any recommended change
• Own of SKU set-up, costing, pricing and maintaining of master data
• Ensure the business systems (Navision/ZAP/Power BI) are maintained
to provide accurate financial data and oversee the implementation and
operation of all systems and controls to ensure the accurate control
and recording of all transactions.
Ideal attributes desired for your new position as a Financial Business Partner are:
- A business and commercial analyst mindset complimented by a
willingness to challenge and interrogate the numbers
- Membership (or working towards membership) of a relevant
accounting body (CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW) or equivalent experience
- Highly computer-literate and an advanced user of Excel, Power BI
including data manipulation and extraction from ERP systems.
- The ability to present complex financial information in a format that is
easily understood by non-financial colleagues.
- Someone who prides themselves in building and maintaining great
stakeholder relationships

A salary up to £52,000 p/a (plus study support if still required), 26 Days holidays plus bank holidays, enhanced pension and company discounts is on offer.
As a finance team they work from home one day per week and some travel is to be expected to ensure full collaboration with stakeholders.
