We are looking for a confident, personable individual with solid all-round accountancy experience to join a well established, stable business as they strengthen the finance team.
Within your role, you will handle all things relating to both the sales and purchase ledger invoicing, all reconciliations around the sales, petty cash, daily banking, billing and month end reporting.
Whilst an accountancy qualification is not necessary, you do need to have demonstrable knowledge and experience of both sales and purchase ledger and understanding of accounting up to TB level and AAT will still be advantageous to your application.
You must also have full working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel, a good understanding of Sage would also be beneficial.

Financial Accountant

I would very much like to hear from qualified accountants that are both technically and commercially sound to take on this permanent position, with this lovely and growing organisation. The role is all encompassing and offers the successful incumbent a great position to get their teeth into and own.

Your role will entail;

statutory accounting including all compliance, taxation and company secretarial
financial reporting including trial balance, balance sheet and chart of accounts
management accounting including forecasting, financial modelling, KPIs and some analysis to aid decision making and strategy planning

About you;

As well as being fully qualified, you must also possess excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
Experience secured from a firm of accountants will stand you steadfast with dealing with a varied portfolio within the business.
Having experience of cloud-based accounting packages as well as having advanced excel skills are essential are also required.
In return, the role offers you a hands-on position dealing with bookkeeping right across to supporting on commercial and strategic decision making, in an organisation that like to play as hard as they work. Year End Accountant

Year End Accountant – Interim 6 to 8 weeks

It is a pleasure to have been instructed by a repeat client that I partner exclusively with to appoint them a Year End Accountant to see them through the year end.

The role sits with an SME sized business, that despite the current climate will come out of the other side stronger.

With their year-end rapidly approaching and whilst the highly credible and tenacious CFO is focussed on the strategy and commercials of the business with a turnover in the early £20 million, they require a qualified and experienced professional to come on board and complete the year end and statutory process included all associated documents and audit deliverables.

Whilst reporting to the CFO you;
• must be able to manage the year end module
• will have consolidation experience
• must understand and have met audit deliverables and rules previously
• should have exposure to multiple currencies and stock
• might have exposure to working with foreign subsidiaries, which would be advantageous but by no means essential
• will have excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
• will be a self-motivated, hands on and well organised Accountant who typically leads from the front

The role needs to start on the 14th December, so you MUST be in the position to start and commit to this assignment and client for the entire 6-8 weeks.
Interviews will be held via zoom/ teams and the role will be predominantly site based (they are set up for covid safe), with some home working during the current climate.

You will be joining a friendly team taking on a crucial role within the supply chain. We are looking for confident, competent individuals with existing supply chain and import/export administration knowledge and experience. You will be working on behalf of a prestigious organisation based in Wiltshire.

Key responsibilities:

Responsible for entering customs declarations using customs clearance software to ensure uninterrupted flow of imports and exports.

Be an integral part of the business supply chain whilst liaising with the purchasing, sales, logistics and finance departments.

Monitoring import and export procedures and ensuring processes are correct.

Creating export documentation.

Management of commodity codes and tariffs.

Resolving issues and queries arising from import/export processes.

Keeping up to date with new legislation and ensue that the company remains compliant.

To be considered for the role:

Export Administration experience is ESSENTIAL.

You must be a confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain strong and lasting customer relationships.

Understanding of current export legislation would be highly desirable.
