Duties will include:

Sales Ledger

Producing invoices
Banking and reconciliation
Chasing up outstanding debts
Purchase Ledger

Code and check invoices
Calculate VAT
Check and reconcile supplier statements
File invoices and statements
Deal with purchase enquiries
There may also be involvement in month end and general accounts administration.

To be considered you must:

- Have good practical knowledge of basic accounts
- Be a team player
- Work efficiently with a good level of accuracy
- Be a strong communicator
- Competent user of Excel and accounting software

Ledger Clerk

£8.50 - £9.50ph negotiable depending on experience
35 Hours per week

Duties will include:
Sales ledger, Purchase ledger and credit control responsibilities within a small, friendly finance team. You will also be flexible and adaptable to assist with general administration and ad hoc duties to support the team.
Some basic accounts experience necessary although full training will be provided.

You must have strong numeracy and computer skills and have proven experience completing administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
Attitude is key, we are looking for a bright, helpful team player who enjoys a varied role but can also get stuck in with the repetitive tasks where necessary.
