We are partnered with a Swindon based client that has made significant in roads into their new road map and five year plan, to secure them an experienced Finance Manager.
This is a great time to go on the next part of their journey with them while you will manage the team on a day to day basis and the finances of this SME business with a number of revenue streams each with their own P&L.
As part of your new remit as Finance Manager, your responsibilities are broad and hands on, including:
• Producing detailed monthly management accounts for several companies
• Annual audit preparation and responsible for audit closure on all entities
• Annual budgets control and preparation
• Preparing annual financial statements
• Financial cost control and cash flow projections and forecasts for the businesses and development projects
• Producing P & L for the financial costings of projects
• Completing and submitting VAT returns
• Liaising with banks, and lead contact with setting up bank accounts
• Lead and manage the team ensuring all day-to-day activities completed by other staff are correct and produced in a timely manner
About you:
Ideally you will be fully qualified or similar and have full working knowledge and understanding of:
• Sage 50 and Excel experience is essential.
• Day to day bookkeeping is essential e.g. processing sales/purchase invoices, reconciling cashbooks, VAT returns and credit control.
• Preparing financial statements and management accounts for multiple companies
A competitive salary is on offer and a mix of working from home/ remotely.
The hours per week are full-time 9.00 – 17.00.
£55,000 to £65,000 p/a
