Service Engineer

We have a brilliant opportunity for a Service Engineer to join a well established client of ours, with a nationwide client base. With a ranged client list, you will be completing projects for a variety of clients and sites.

As a Service Engineer you are responsible for maintaining all security systems in line with customer requirements and current standards. You will deliver a world class customer service to your clients ensuring that the work is completed to an exceptional standard.

Some other responsibilities included in the service engineer role will include but not limited to:

• Servicing and maintaining various intruder, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Installation of various intruder, CCTV, and access control systems
• Demonstrate systems for customers and explain details such as the causes and consequences of false alarms.
• Carry out corrective and preventative maintenance of fire alarm systems and all other security systems
• Responding to demand service calls on all types of systems

To excel in this role, you will need to have had experience working as a multi-disciplined engineer, more specifically working with security systems. Knowledge of fire security systems would be beneficial but not essential.

Some other desirable qualities include:

• A great communicator
• Experience of front-line customer service will be preferential
• A full UK Driving Licence
• You must be flexible to travel and be part of an on-call rota.

This service engineer role comes with many extra bonuses on top of the offered £30,000 - £40,000 p/a salary such as:
