We are exclusively partnered with this interesting and entrepreneurial company to secure them an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team.
About the role
This is an extremely busy and challenging role and as their new Accounts Assistant, ledger processing will be your main area of responsibility including the following:
• Processing sales and purchase invoices
• Reconciling cashbooks
• VAT returns
• Credit control
Other finance related duties will come under your remit and there will be opportunities to learn and expand your knowledge, as you get to know the role and support the finance team and function further.
About you
To thrive as Accounts Assistant it is important that you are self-motivated and can manage your own workload to a high standard. Communication is key to being efficient and when helping customers and colleagues alike and:
• Having a full working knowledge of Sage and Excel experience is essential.
• Ability to learn other essential software quickly is essential.
• Sales, purchase ledger, credit control and payroll experience is required
A competitive salary is on offer of £25,000 - £30,000 p/a depending on experience and the role will be a mix of office based 3 days per week and home based 2 days based per week.
