Nicola, our Divisional Finance and Accounting lead, is pleased to bring to the market this fantastic position and opportunity of Divisional Head of Finance, with her repeat Wiltshire based client.

She is partnered exclusively with this internationally renowned company and is looking forward to speaking with highly credible senior finance professionals that have demonstrable capabilities and experience of working in the FMCG and/ or Manufacturing arena.

As their new Divisional Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all financial operations, developing and implementing financial strategies, and ensuring the long-term financial stability of the company and Division, whilst managing and leading a great team of people (under 6) to provide expert knowledge and advice to support business decisions and growth.

You will find yourself:
• managing the Annual Budget and Quarterly Forecasts, providing monthly commentary for actual results against the last forecast and budget
• identifying ways to improve the profitability and cashflow of the division and influencing the SLT to make necessary changes
• ensuring that the monthly and year end accounts are completed
• collaborating with Commercial and Operational Directors to ensure they receive the financial support to enable them to achieve their financial objectives

As well as having a background in FMCG and/ or Manufacturing, without doubt this role will test and utilise your accounting technical ability, so you must be confident in your skills set and what you can bring to the position.

Your repertoire must also include holding a professional accounting and finance qualification, CIMA, ACA, or ACCA, with a proven track record of cost control and profitability capability, sound credits and debits knowledge, journalling, budgeting and forecasting.

As part of your career journey and PQE experience to date you may have held an FBP position at some point, which would also support you in this position.

Excel will be your best friend and knowledge of MRP systems plus standard costing is essential.

Which is how your new position as Divisional Head of Finance has come about, due to internal promotion.

You will be rewarded with a salary of up to £85,000 p/a, an enhanced pension, 25 days holiday which will increase to 28 days, healthcare scheme, life insurance and bonus.

The position is a hybrid one, whereby you will be office based in the Chippenham area 2 days per week, with the other 3 days working remotely.
