Upholsterer

Miles Recruitment have a great opportunity for an Upholsterer to join a well established company, dedicated to providing high-quality upholstery services.

As an Upholsterer, you will be responsible for transforming furniture by applying padding, springs, fabric. Some of your daily responsibilities can include:

- Remove old upholstery and prepare surfaces for new materials.
- Measure, cut, and sew fabric or leather according to design specifications.
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Glue, pack and fit materials to finish products

To thrive in this position as Upholsterer, you will need to have proven experience in the same or a similar role. Additionally you will need:

- Proficiency in upholstery techniques, including measuring, cutting, sewing, and stapling.
- Knowledge of different types of fabrics, leathers, and materials used in upholstery.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for design and craftsmanship.

This is an ongoing position with the opportunity to go permanent.
Salary: £11.69 p/h
